my grannie mcgreevy as i used to call her was a really kind lady, i used to love going up to her house with my papa for dinner every tuesday. i would sit in her big rocking chair and play with all the ornaments that she had and she had a lot, lol. my grannie would always make mince and tatties every time we went for dinner. Wee jeanie as everyone called her worked in Grey Dunns biscuit factory for over 30 years. she also loved going to the bingo. she lived for her children, jean, ellen, agnas, ina and my papa charlie, who my grannie wcalled larry the only boy and the favourite lol.
Her journey's just begun xx
Don't think of her as gone away,
Her journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
This earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know today,
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched,
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she was loved so much.
